Base carries 1GB, Lite carries 100MB, and they pool separately so a large fleet of sensors never draws down the sites doing real work.
Every Base SIM contributes its monthly allowance to the Base pool. Every Lite SIM contributes to the Lite pool. Any SIM draws from its own pool, so a quiet tower funds a busy one and you never forecast usage site by site.
The two pools are independent. Base allowance cannot be consumed by Lite devices, and Lite allowance cannot be consumed by Base devices. Each pool resets at the start of its billing cycle.
The band is set by the number of SIMs active on the estate at each SIM's renewal date, counted separately for Base and Lite.

Per SIM, per month, true 30 day cycles. A new SIM is created at the current band rate straight away. Existing SIMs move to the new rate at their own next renewal, so an estate transitions over up to 30 days. Where two rates appear for one product on a single invoice, we always include a line explaining the band change.
Multi-network removes single carrier risk at the tower. It does not remove single provider risk in the core. A second SIM sits on a different MVNO core to your primary, so a fault at one provider does not take the site offline.
We would normally recommend it on your critical sites first rather than across the whole estate.
The second connection, not more data. It carries no allowance of its own and draws on the same pool as your primary. Adding second SIMs does not grow the pool and does not change what you spend on data.
It is the cheapest line on our rate card, and on a critical site it is the difference between a site being down and a site being fine.
