A note on 2G and 3G. UK 3G networks were switched off through to spring 2026, and 2G retirement is expected across the early 2030s. If a device relies on falling back to 2G or 3G in the UK, that is worth reviewing now rather than later. Outside the UK, 3G availability varies by country and is also being withdrawn in many markets.
Technology availability varies by country and by site and is not listed here, because it changes faster than we could keep a page accurate. Ask us about a specific country and we will check it at the time. Coverage and network availability are provided by the mobile operators and can change without notice. Technology availability varies by country and by site. We do not guarantee coverage, throughput or availability at any specific location. Where a site is marginal, multi-network is the safer choice because the SIM can re-select across networks.
