Who we are

Alchemy SIM is the data and connectivity brand of Quimera Technology Ltd, trading as The Tech Factory. We supply pooled multi-network connectivity to organisations running distributed estates: towers, remote assets, construction sites, public safety, broadcast and live events.

We come from a background of designing and running connectivity in awkward places: broadcast, live events, public safety and remote sites. That shapes how we sell it. We would rather tell you a Lite pool is too small for what you are about to put on it than take the order and deal with the overage conversation later.

How we work

• We model an estate both ways before quoting it, rather than defaulting to the split that looks cheaper on a spreadsheet.
• We will tell you when your usage says a bundle should move up a size, because a bundle is cheaper than paying for data outside one.
• Rates only ever move down. Once your estate reaches a volume band, you keep it.
• Where an invoice needs explaining, it carries the explanation on it.

What we will not tell you

We do not promise guaranteed uptime or absolute coverage. We are a reseller: the radio networks belong to the mobile operators, and coverage at any given site is ultimately theirs to provide. What a multi-network SIM buys you is the ability to re-select when one of them has a bad day.
